My mom and dad are both on facebook, and have been for a while. Also a number of my mother's friends and extended family members have added me to facebook. It's creepy, I'm only 20 and I've got about 100 friends that are extended family members and long time friends of the family. It's like my hometown is constantly checking up on me... and I feel bad ignoring their friend requests, 'cause you know, I've known them forever.

I can add to that proof: My girlfriend's mom recently created a facebook profile herself. The gf found it quite embarassing.
