<description>It would be useful for everyone to read &#039;It happened in India&#039; to understand how the retail industry evolved here. And how design played a role. India is a land of entrepreneurs, even the housewife has an entrepreneurial spirit! Loose systems (too big a nation, too unorganised an administration) allow human ingenuity to rise up, create, innovate. Design thinking is something that the entrepreneur understands. And has been smart enough to tap into not only the talents and the skills, but the minds of trained designers. Loosely again, business design is striving and thriving.
