Martin Luther King Jr. on Technology

by Karl on January 18, 2010

“Through our scientific genius, we have made this world a neighborhood; now, through our moral and spiritual development we must make of it a brotherhood. In a real sense, we must learn to live together as brothers, or we will perish together as fools.”

Martin Luther King Jr.

Sorry it took me so long to notice this. What I find significant about my online relationships is that they are completely based upon the soul typing on the other end of the cursor. There is no skin color to label us in this virtual brotherhood.

I think we will learn to live together. Light and dark cannot occupy the same space, and the collective glow of enlightened souls will seek each other out through this medium.

Pretty woo woo for a Friday. :) Thanks for making me think.

Best,
M.
