I'd like to see Jack White's last.fm channel and Christopher Hitchens' del.icio.us bookmarks, but I don't want their tweets and Facebook updates and all of the nitty-gritty.

Not that Jack White Twitters. But if he does, I don't want to read it.

Hi Karl,
checked out an interview with Marc Canter (link on his blog)- who clearly talks about PersonaEditor in the end of the video. As something that will be realeased next year. One interface to publish anywhere. Kind of an inverted netvibes.

Yeah, I'm not that excited about lifestreaming, most people's lives aren't that interesting :-) I'm quite ruthless about unsubscribing from twitterers who abuse it. I think microblogging is interesting, but broadcasting the minutiae is of limited interest or value.

Karl - Some good thoughts on the topic.

The other thing I'm scratching my head over is the drama over the name lifestreaming. It's an aggregated vanity feed. Deal with it.

Another PR blogger wonders if you want all of that info on you in one place for such open consumption:
http://canuckflack.com/2007/08/24/your-digital-loaf-can-lead-to-identity-theft/

More than likely, I will take the Tumbl so to speak to aggregate/eliminate my vanity feeds into one feed and will then serve it up on my about page. As that is essentially a bio of sorts it will be in context.
