I'm not sure how Twitter is cool.... yet. But what I can't deny is the web stats on my site. I've been adding "follows" (people I follow) all afternoon and now have about 1,700 people I'm following. Of those, about 10% are following me back - that's very impressive. But better than that, people are clicking on my website. Is twitter the holy grail of online traffic? Time will tell I guess.

Maybe I'm on the low end of the learning curve, but I just don't understand what in God's name is so cool or even useful about Twitter, or half the other crap that constitutes the social networking phenomenon. To me it just seems like a bunch of kids wasting their brains. And this coming from a guy who plays Command and Conquer. Somebody, please, enlighten me. How is Twitter cool?

I was one of thoese that came through that tweet. His description caught my attention. I found the article interesting and I like your blog (will add it to my list). I am new to actually _using_ twitter (2 days). I realize there is a lot of relevancy here, but sometimes reading through all the other stuff ... well, it kind of sucks you in to very free form thinking/writing. perhaps i shall just call it babbling. I just realized that I cursed in a tweet. Oh my! I'll keep experimenting. Thanks!
