You are right about the implications for the Zooomr/Google Maps mash up.  We too believe that there are lots of implications.  In our next version 2.0 which launches on Friday we make it much, much, easier to geotag and in the future plan on developing a whole mess of community rich tools to help you find other great photographers/bloggers/meetups/etc. in your neighborhood.  There is so much potential with geotags and we are amazed at how many people are taking advantage of geotagging on Zooomr.  And we suspect even more will once it's even easier to geotag in version 2.0.  

Anyway, don't hesitate to let us know how we can continue to improve the site.  It is our constant goal to delight you our user.
