Google Celebrates April 20th With A New Logo

business, Marketing April 20, 2007 by Travis Biller

Time for a little fun now ladies and gents with this mocked up Google logo to celebrate April 20th, also known as 4/20 or weed day in certain circles.

Google have always been pretty liberal to be fair and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if this logo actually looked like this one day, albeit for a brief time. The makers of the logo have spoken at length bout how they try to ensure that each day has a different theme based on the particular day or season, which does beg the question  why on earth shouldn’t they help many around the world celebrate their very own special green day.

I, as a none consumer, would  be more than happy for Google to get liberal and get creative each 4/20, what a hoot that could be!

There are of course risks which many companies cannot run but I have a very strong suspicion that when it comes to Google, their reputation is such that they could certainly get away with being so liberal, what do you think?
