Who Has Had The Best Transfer Window So Far in The Premier League?

The new Premier League season is set to start early this year because of the World Cup, and we are less than a month away from kick off. This means that sides are running out of time to secure their transfer prospects, and the last few weeks will certainly be interesting. Most US online casinos have City as favorites and Liverpool as second favorites to win the league this year, but given the quality of the transfer windows which some have had, that may not be the case come next May. Let’s take a look at who has had the best window so far.

Tottenham Hotspur

There is no doubt that Spurs have had the best window so far, as they aim to mount a challenge for trophies this season, following a lengthy drought. If you check out the best Aussie sportsbooks, you can find them at https://www.australianonlinecasinosites.com/, you’ll see that Spurs come in 3rd favorites for the league, owing largely to the business they’ve done so far. Conte has so far brought in top players like Perisic , Bisosuma and Richarlison as well as clearing out some dead wood in the side. Spurs have gone about their business well so far and more could still come in.

Newcastle United

Many are worried about the emergence of Newcastle United following the takeover last season by the mega-rich Saudis, and they have already started showing strength in the window. Not only did the magpies have a great January, they have also made some smart moves this summer. Bringing in the likes of Nick Pope, Sven Batman and Matt Targett, it is clear that they mean business. It may be a couple of years before they are in for the likes of Mbappe and Neymar, but so far they are meeting the task when it comes to reinforcing the team.

Man City

Man City are always expected to buy big each summer, in order to keep their foot on the neck of the Premier League. The introduction of Erling Haaland is the perfect example of this, along with the signing of Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United. Most notably City have sold Gabriel Jesus and look set to part ways with Raheem Sterling, as they look to shake up their attacking lineup. Smart business so far from the Citizens.

Liverpool

Liverpool have had such a smart transfer policy for a number of years, consistently bringing in young talent to keep the team’s success going. This summer has been no different as they have brought in real talent like Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho. Losing Sadio Mane is tough but Klopp has done very well to ensure that there is enough quality and depth in his squad to deal with it. Most notably, the Reds have cleared some space on the wage bill, getting rid of the likes of Origi, Karius and Minamino amongst others.
